Start your book publishing journey with Zart

Step 1 / 17

Who is registering?

Choose the kind of account: an author publishing their book, or an organisation publishing its titles.

Step 2 / 17

Choose the path that suits you

We ask this first because the registration steps differ a little between the two.

Outside Saudi Arabia we ask for your mobile with your country code, then take you straight on to adding your book. The Zart team reviews your account before activating it.

Step 3 / 17

Which sector is the organisation in?

We record the organisation's sector, then continue with the same registration steps.

Step 4 / 17

The organisation's name

The organisation's official name, as it should appear on contracts and in the publisher records.

Next we ask for the organisation's contact person: their name, mobile and email.

Step 5 / 17

First, let's get to know you

Your name as it should appear in the publisher records and on the contract.

It takes a minute, and your answers are saved in your browser as you go, so you can stop and come back.

Step 6 / 17

Your mobile number

We use it to reach you about your book and to send publishing updates.

Step 7 / 17

Enter the verification code

We have texted a 6-digit code to your mobile.

Step 8 / 17

Email and password

Your email is the username for your account, where you will follow your book's progress and sales.

Step 9 / 17

Confirm your email

We have emailed you a 6-digit code.

Step 10 / 17

Your mobile number

Choose your country code, then enter your number without the leading zero.

Once you finish registering and adding your book, the Zart team reviews and activates your account, and we email you the moment it is active.

Step 11 / 17

Accept the terms of service

Before we start, read the agreement that governs your relationship with Zart: scope of service, intellectual property, royalties and cancellation.

You keep full rights to your book. Zart is a publisher and distribution agent, not the owner of the work.

Step 12 / 17

Book details

The title is the first thing a reader sees, and the single most important phrase in search results.

Step 13 / 17

How would you like to publish?

You can change this later; digital is the fastest to reach readers and the least costly.

An opening suggestion we go over with you before publishing. See what this price earns you ↗

Step 14 / 17

Do you already have an international identifier?

If you don't have one, we obtain it for you for 250 SAR - or skip this step now and add it later from your request page.

ISBN

International Standard Book Number: a unique 13-digit identifier for books and published products.

ISSN

International Standard Serial Number: a unique eight-digit code identifying newspapers, magazines, periodicals and electronic serials.

Step 15 / 17

Upload your manuscript

We work from a Word file because it lets us edit, typeset and proofread without losing your formatting.

Step 16 / 17

Your book cover

Tell us what you have, and we take it from there.

Step 17 / 17

Choose your package

Choose the package that fits your project. You pay nothing now - once our team has reviewed your request we will send a payment request and an invoice to your account.
